Payment Methods
In Person Payments:
Payments are accepted in person Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm at 102 N. Fourth St, Bayboro, NC.
Payment by Mail:
Included with your monthly bill is a window envelope that you can use to mail your payment. Please tear off the bottom bill stub portion to include with your payment and make sure the address shows through the window on the envelope. It is also helpful to include your account number on your check or money order. In the event that you have lost your return envelope or do not have your bill with the remittance address, please send payments to the following address:

Drop Box:
The Pamlico County Water Department has one drop box location available. The drop box is outside our business office at 102 N. Fourth St., Bayboro, NC. Payments placed in the drop box can be made by check or money order only; do not place cash payments in the drop box. Payments made during business hours (8am-5pm M-F), or over the weekend, will be processed the next business day.
Online Payment:
You can pay your bill online with a debit or credit card 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. For your convenience, a link is located on the right side of this web page. In order to access your account you will need your utility account number and customer number.
NOTE: Online payments are updated once daily.Payments made after 4 pm will be processed the next business day. If your account includes a past due balance, making partial payments may not prevent disconnection of your utility services.If your service is already scheduled to be disconnected, or if it has already been disconnected, payments must be made in the office. Payments made online will not be credited to your account until the following business day and may not include additional fees associated with our cutoff policy. Automatic Bank Draft:
Save time and money by participating in the Automatic Bank Draft Program for your monthly utility bills. No more writing a check each month, paying postage, or worrying about late fees or disconnection of your services. We will continue to send you a monthly utility bill showing your total current charges and your bank account will be drafted on the last business day of the month. You may apply for this service in our office, use the form on the back of your monthly bill, or download the form here. Participation is easy and free, just complete the form, attach a voided check, and mail or bring it to:
